The Story
AI assistants forget everything between conversations. Every session starts from zero. Users repeat themselves. Context is lost. The assistant that helped you yesterday has no idea who you are today.
We built m3mory to fix this. Not a simple key-value store. Not just embeddings in a vector database. A full knowledge extraction and retrieval pipeline that understands what matters, builds relationships between entities, and retrieves the right context when it counts.
m3mory scores 83.6% on LongMemEval-S, the world's hardest memory benchmark designed by researchers at UCLA, Tencent AI Lab, and UC San Diego, running gpt-4o-mini, edging ahead of Supermemory (81.6%) which needed GPT-4o as their answer model at 10x the cost per query. Our retrieval pipeline does the heavy lifting, not the LLM. You get better accuracy for a fraction of the price. It doesn't matter what model you choose to use, our system still delivers.
The Team
m3mory was built by a small team using AI-assisted development. The entire codebase, infrastructure, benchmark suite, and this website were built by a team of agentic AI agents using our own knowledge engine, and making it better as we went.
